1 Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Saudi Arabia
A well-established commercial bank in the region is
looking for a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join
their growing team in Riyadh. The candidate's
primary role is to manage fixed income funds and
discretionary portfolios according to investment
guidelines by working in a team environment to
assess new investment opportunities based on a
strong credit-oriented fundamental research process.
The role also requires working with stakeholders to
enhance, develop and launch products, as well as
conduct research and analysis as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform credit analysis for monitoring funds
and discretionary portfolio holdings.
• Provide Wealth Managers with updates on
markets, funds, portfolios to support the growth of
existing products as well as develop proposals to
address client needs.
• Develop, analyze and source new and
secondary investment opportunities, primarily in the
sukuk market, as well as participate in the active
management of fixed income portfolios.
• Liaise with the Risk Management team to
contribute to the development of the general risk
management policies, limits, guidelines, frameworks
and addressing any guideline breaches.
• Develop issuer and security-level risk and
return analysis, monitor market and economic
developments and make trading decisions consistent
with the investment process and portfolio
guidelines.
Requirements:
• University degree in Banking and Finance,
though a CFA designation is desirable.
• The successful candidate would have 3 to 5
years of direct fixed income investment experience
as well as relevant experience in managing GCC
credit or sukuk portfolios.
• Must have good analytic skills, both
qualitative and quantitative such as financial
modeling.

2. Equity Research Analyst, Saudi Arabia
A boutique investment firm is looking for an Equity
Research Analyst to join their team who will help
analyze a wide range of companies, with a particular
focus on the Saudi market. The analyst will report
directly to Head of Asset Management, and work with
a team of other analysts and fund managers.
Responsibilities:
• Generate Daily, Weekly, and Quarterly Market
Reports on Saudi and GCC Equity Markets.
• Provide advisory services on investment
strategies, ideas, and reports for local and
regional Markets.
• Lead fundamental research on assigned
corporate names and sectors including: forecasts,
research, financial statement analysis, financial
modeling and due diligence on sector trends.
Requirements:
• Must have a strong academic background and
around 3-5 years of experience in GCC equities.
• Candidates with a CFA Charter or
successfully working towards one will be preferred.
• Good analytical skills and understanding of
business profitability drivers.
• Fluent in English as well as Arabic.
• Preferably a Saudi national.
